Assessment Techniques
- FormativeStudents will create a self-portrait that demonstrates the knowledge they have gained about themselves.
Ask students to choose 2 or 3 characteristics from the Success Traits Worksheet that represent their personalities. Incorporate those qualities into their self-portrait. They may also choose 1 or 2 traits they want to work on developing.
Depending on their preferred learning style, students will present their portraits in different ways.
Visual learners might design a concept map or produce a video.
Auditory learners might create a podcast or write a speech.
Kinesthetic learners might construct a hands-on project like a scrapbook, ePortfolio, or poster.
